    Simplex is one of the world's largest crypto liquidity providers. Simplex is an EU-licensed financial institution and a Level 1 Service Provider, empowering the crypto industry with a full fiat infrastructure. In 2022, Simplex was purchased by Nuvei for $250 Million and we would like to belive that our marketing campaigns helped make this possible😊

    Client Brief


    Simplex approached Leopash Media to assist with a brand awareness campaign. During our discovery session they highlighted how they were struggling to break into the U.S market as an Israeli based company. They needed to tap into the U.S and Europe market as these markets where experiencing a "Crypto gold rush."

    The Challenge


    The first challenge we identified during our research phase was a general lack of exposure for Simplex as an international company. Customers simply did not know about Simplex and if they did, they did not fully understand what solution Simplex was providing.

    The second challenge we identified was a lack of media coverage. Unlike most of it's competitors, SImplex did not receive much press/media coverage which highly contributed to the first challenge we touched on earlier.

    The solution



    Producing a Promo Video

    To Solve for challenge #1, we produced a promotional video which aimed at communicating Simplex's offerings in a simplistic manner. The promotional video was then advertised on Simplex's Social Media Platform and aired on Local TV (A network of Local TV stations covers some of the most populous and vibrant parts of the UK).


    Designing and Placing Billboards

    Through the help from our friends from Outfront Media and JCDecaux, we were able to design and place billboards in (and around) Time Square, New York City! This would help expose Simplex's brand to a plethora of audiences from all walks of life.


    Getting media coverage

    To solve for challenge #2, we set out on a PR tour in which we reached out to various crypto and finance media houses (including Yahoo Finance, CoinGate, Bitcoin.com and many more...). The aim of this exercise was to drive media attention on Simplex. Our efforts were successful and we were able to secure over a dozen articles for Simplex during our 3 month PR campaign.
